Yes. You can post just about anything you like in here, and the 
weather is fine as well. It's not even non-climbing topics that are 
an issue. The problem is a few months ago this message board 
got clogged with blatant spam. I removed all that, and made the 
Group private. Now, some guiding and trekking services are 
joining, and I think that's great. But it bugs me when they simply 
make a cut and paste off their website sales pitch and put it out 
to the Group. That's not what the Group or message board is for. 
I ask that they place links to their website in the Groups "links" 
page (to the left if you're reading this on the Groups Message 
board), and partake in conversation with the members. Some of 
them have, and I thank them for it. 

So yes, post about the weather. Certainly if it pertains to outdoor 
adventures. Post about rock climbing, ice climbing, 
mountaineering, bouldering, trekking, travel to exciting places, all 
of it. By all means, don't let me stop you. Just don't post spam, or 
use the Group's message board for advertising, that's all.
