Best wishes to you Lynette! And to all the other ladies on this board. I
just wanted to wish you a wonderful pregnancy and delivery and let you know
that I'm a Doula, so if you ever want more info on Doulas or just have
questions, you can email me off the list. [EMAIL PROTECTED] I am also
saying goodbye. After 5 positive tests and an intial visit and exam with the
Birth Center (stating I was measuring 5-6 weeks) I was called and told a
week later that bloodwork I took on the 20th came back and I am not pregnant
and had not been any time recently. I was shocked and took it hard. After
believing for over a week I was expecting and to find out that I never was
felt a little like a loss, although quite different from a miscarriage since
there was never a baby. The tests were bought online (I've done that several
times before and never a problem) They took a while to show, but a definite
second line in the first 3 I took (all in the same day) To verify they
worked, my mom took one=negative. After I was called with the news I took a
4th one=positive, and I did one using water=negative. Later that night I had
mom take another one and after 20+ minutes she had the same second line.
Identical to the others. I cancelled the appt. I had made with an OB for the
following morning. It hurt the first day, but by the next day (although
still upset at the whole ordeal) I had accepted the mistake. It won't happen
again though, because the next time I get a positive test, I will insist
upon immediate bloodwork. My children are 3, 2, and 1. We would like 2 more,
but any time the Lord allows it will be fine. God bless you and your growing
families. I hope you build lasting friendships with each other. Take care
and congratulations ladies!!
~Kelly
Happy Holidays!!
