I feel really sorry for Grant and his crew. When something breaks on
my boat, maybe more than 100 but less than 1000 people know about it, 
But these guys have to face the entire nation (broadcast on
television, radio and the news papers) and hundreds of thousands of
internet viewers.

We had the pleasure of racing the Nacra 5.8 against Scandia last year
inthe King of the Derwent. in 20 knots of breeze we could match their
speed upwind but they were pointing about 10 degree's higher, downhill
they were the at least as fast but going deeper.

up close and personal, Skandia is one of the most impressive Maxi's I
have ever seen, sitting next to it while under sail is just daunting!
