I agree, one needs u joints with zerk fittings. However, before you replace servicable u joints, look real close. Some u joints were designed with tapped holes(plugged), where the grease monkey would screw in zerk fittings to lube, then replug, this was to allow more clearance, usually on off road vehicles, where the susupension got more travel than usual.
