RTV - Room Temperature Vulcanizing. Silicone "rubber". Very good "glue" or sealer, long life, easy to work with.
I just did a google search (www.google.com) using [RTV Silicone] and it turned up one commonly available type that should be OK on Airstreams: See: http://www.gesealants.com/sealants/diy/portfolio/silicones/silicone2.shtml This is a non-corrosive formulation recommended for Aluminum. It does not give off the acetic acid that many RTV products are noted for. Jerry 4404 At 00:35 12/29/04, you wrote: >What Is RTV Silicone caulk? Is there a brand name?
