I hear the Gila Bend guy is selling for $1300
plus $59/mo. I got it from www.rv-anywhere.org
They have the DW4000 for $1995.

We prefer the tripod mount as it has made it
easier for us to set up in tree covered spots in
RV parks. We love the ability to move the dish
around rather than attempting to move the rig to
the "right" spot. Just our preference...

Cheers,

Robin

Your don't have to pay that much. You can get a Tripod system from
RV2WaySatLink for alot less.

Harbor freight has a sale on some 45 watt solar panel/converter
packages, for about $200. U$. It is a three panel system, looks like
it would take a good portion of the roof (between the a/c, the vents
and antennii, the only place to mount it on my rig would be on the
cargo rack (which we don't use anyways)
the site is www.harborfreight.com

I did. The overwhelming opinion among those who have been there is the article
is a bunch of negative journalism with little basis in fact. We've decided to
stay with our original plans and go there in January to see for ourselves. If
LeDuff's article were the only info we had on the slabs, we would not go near
it....
