Linux and Unix are different operating sytems like MS Windows.
They have very different kernals.Strictly speaking,Linux is only a kernal created by Linus Torvalds in 1991.
Unix was originally created around 1917 @ AT&t's Bells Labs Group.
the original was known as Unics(Uniplexed Information and Computing System).Unix' name was a pun of Multics,a more complicated forrunner of Unix.deo sharma <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
