I hope folks won't mind this call for participation being posted
on the XP mailing list. XP is considered by some to be the most
successful pattern language in existence, and practices such as
unit testing, refactoring, and source code management have been
documented quite well via patterns. Please consider joining us!

Use ChiliPLoP 2005 to advance the state of
the art of software development via patterns.

ChiliPLoP offers a unique opportunity in the universe of software
conferences. It lets *you* design a custom, three-day event for
software professionals to work on a topic of current interest and
importance. You propose a Hot Topic session related to patterns,
solicit participation in your Hot Topic, and accept a group of
3-8 people who will work on your topic. The conference organizers
provide a wonderful location and all the services you need to focus
      on your work.

Domain experts, patterns experts, and patterns novices alike have
an opportunity to work with other interested in the same cutting-
edge topic. The different Hot Topic groups have an opportunity to
mingle at breaks, meals, and open evening sessions, encouraging a
      cross-fertilization of ideas.

ChiliPLoP is different not only in its content, but in its entirety.
The conference offers an environment of creativity and relaxed
intensity, along with experiences that will entice you to return
      again and again.

Please consider proposing a Hot Topic! Visit:

March is a great time to experience Arizona. There are many wonderful
places within easy distance from Carefree. Consider bringing your
family or companions with you to have fun in the sun while you are
hard at work. Or, less selflessly, consider extending your stay by
arriving early or staying late so you, too, can relax and enjoy a
      short vacation.
