I have the same problem with my '85 150. An honest dude who had the
computerized alignment equipment in VA, set the front end to specs and
the PU still pulled a little to the right after a few hundred miles of
driving. All highway driving. I told him to set it for highway. The
right tire eventually wears on one edge but not the left tire. 

Oh, well, I need to replace the old spare and will get a new tire and
put the old one on the spare rim.
