Hi Patti,
I got my recall notice, and took the trailer in. The
people they contracted with for the wheel assembly put
in an inferior bearing grease that will not withstand
heat build up.
One guy brought his rig into the dealership minus one
wheel - it had fallen off after the wheel froze up.
I'd call Jackson Center, and verify if you have the
same problem. Or, you could just take your beauty to
a dealer and have him check if out for you.
Out of the six wheels they checked on my rig, there
was one that was defective. The mechanic showed it to
me. The bearing grease poured out like thin gravy.
Boy was I lucky, we'd just gotten back from a trip.
