Yeah.  Or else they're right out of the companies' promotional literature,  
but in any case not too terribly descriptive.  The other thing that I had a 
problem with right off was the fact that when I moved the mouse pointer over 
the stuff in the top menu,  it would disappear -- or at least reduce in 
contrast to the point where I couldn't read it any more.

Or _hobbyists_.  But yeah.  It might also be useful to know whether there was 
a demo version of something available,  and if so in what way it would be 
limited.

And finally,  it would also be of help to know what platform a give software 
package was aimed at,  and perhaps even be able to restrict the listings to 
just those platforms chosen.  If I'm running linux here (which I am) I'm not 
going to be interested in software that's only available for certain versions 
of windoze (which some are).  Otherwise it's a waste of my time.
