Rick,

Use SQL Server 2000.
You can link tables diagrammatically and the SQL Statements will
automatically be generated for you.
It has a module known as Enterprise Manager and it is wonderful.
I am sure you can learn through without much difficulty as most of the
things to be done have wizards.

It also comes with online help after installation.

Just check it out.

Regards,
Peter MUGOH

Subject: [Visual Basic 6 programming] Database

Folks,

This may sound off topic but it is not. I am trying to use an MDB with
VB.net. However, setting the relationships for the Access tables is a pain
in the neck for me. I understand, it's as simple as drag and drop for those
who are sighted. However, considering that I am totally blind, I must rely
on SQL syntax to perform the job.

I tried looking up information on doing so, but was very unsuccessful. Does
anyone of you have a good knowledge of where I can obtain information on
such syntax considering I am using Access 2003? Also, is there a better
database engine out there I can use besides access in order to structure
tables so I can link to them via ADO.net? Any help is greatly appreciated.
