ok, let's take a deep breath...

here's a link that will probably get you on the right track:

http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url="">

now, if this doesn't work for you, pls give us some more details, like:

1. this is an intranet/internet/extranet application (give us basic use scenarios and the types of connections between the client and server)
2. what are the volumes (many...)?  what we talking in terms of size?
3. is there anything complex about the data (greater than 255 columns, commas/quotes/line feeds/etc. in columns which makes it a bear to deal with in a CSV, etc.) which means we'll have to show you some custom code.
4. do u have auditability issues (I have to keep track of what users uploaded/updated, do they need specific ftp directories if this is a file push, etc.)

we can help you out, that's why we're here, but there are varying degrees of complexity based on your specific needs.

Rob

PS I upload 100's of automotive files in TXT, CSV, XML,etc. daily, which are substantial 80MB+, so if we know more about your situation, we can give you the best recommendation (like when to use a bulkload approach, etc.)
