These are the general list rules for the F-Boats list.

1. This list is for discussions relevant to Farrier designed
sailboats.  Boats built by Corsair Marine, regardless who designed
them, are also specifically on topic.  This sometimes spills over
into topics general to multi-hulls, or even sailing in general, and
while technically off topic, this isn't usually discouraged.
Topics that stray further than general sailing are off-topic for
the list and are to be avoided.  (N.B. Virus warnings, no matter
how well intentioned, are not allowed.)

2. Be polite to each other.  We're here for a common interest, and
should find common ground, where possible.  It's expected that
we're all adults, and even when we disagree, we needn't be
disagreeable about it.  Personal attacks against an individual or
   group of people are forbidden!

3. Trim your posts!  Only quote the minimum amount required to
establish context when you reply to a post.  As a rule of thumb, if
you haven't added more new text than you're quoting, you're doing
   it wrong.

4. No commercial postings.  If you've got any type of business, this
is NOT the place to advertise it, regardless how relevant it is to
f-boats.  People with a commercial interest in f-boats are
encouraged to participate in the discussions, as would anyone else,
provided it doesn't turn into advertising.  Individuals wishing to
sell their own, used, f-boat or related gear may make one post
briefly describing it, and directing interested people to respond
   off-list.

5. No pictures via mail.  You can upload them to the photo or file
areas of the group site.  Or you can post pointers to pictures on
   the web.
