Todd,
In a word "YES" your Red Book is a bit dated. It would be
well worth the money to upgrade to a 2004 or 2005 Version.
This would also allow you to do a little checking on how
prices have moved over the last ten years as they have moved
for some coins and stayed Static for others.
Mike and his comments about Private Auctions is well worth
noting and keeping in mind. I tend to shy away from them,
but could not have given you a reason, but I think Mike hit
the nail on the head.
I looked at the coin and think you are right in the ballpark
price wise. If you are looking for some "Bust" Halves or
Quarters, let me knoow specificaly and I will check with a
friend of mine who has been slowing letting his hoard of Bust
Halves and Quarters go. That is where I got the ones I needed
for my Type Set and I thought his prices reasonable (He is a
Retired Coin Shop Owner/Dealer)
