The bit about "ERROR! Neo4j cannot be started using java version 1.7.0_25."
is misleading, you should disregard that. I recon you are using OpenJDK? We
have changed that messaging for the next release.

As for the rest: what did you do to end up there? Did you install from the
tarball, or use a .deb or .rpm package (yes I know this reveals my
cluelessness, but bear with, bear with).

If we can reproduce it we might be able to help.
