I would definitely consider using a label or a property on nodes and
relationships to Identify the source of the data, in case one or the
other imports doesn't result in what you want, so you can more easily
find what was imported from which source.

dataset as a kind of "silent" slave data in the LC gdb, used for LC
gdb queries but not for NIH.SM <http://NIH.SM> queries. Just make sure
you are mirroring NIH.SM <http://NIH.SM> master data changes correctly
to LC gdb.
