In order to take a lock on a node you can use the following in a query REMOVE nodeInQuestion._nonExistentProperty_
The removal takes a lock on the node. Is this a massive hack? Although it is a very useful feature why doesn't the removal of a non-existent property throw some kind of exception? Are there plans in the works to allow locking via cypher? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Neo4j" group.
