It costs nothing (except for time :-) to look department. I've found a motherboard (Intel S2600GZ4) which can handle 24 RAM modules at up to 32GB (and 1866 GHz). It has Dual LGA 2011 CPU Sockets, so I can get 128 GB of RAM and a single processor now; upgrading later... Here are some preliminary eBay results: $1100 - 2U chassis w/MB (Intel R2208GZ4GC) $2400 - 4@32GB RAM (SK Hynix HMT84GL7AMR4C-RD) $600 - 2.6,6C CPU (Intel BX80635E52630V2) ===== $4100 - Total, w/o disks... Am I missing a bet on some other approach? -r -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Neo4j" group.
