Only the full array is indexed, not individual entries.

So it won't use the index except if you provide the same array that was 
initially indexed.

The old lucene index had a different behavior that used the individual elements 
for lookups, but that lead to inconsistent behavior (esp. around uniqueness).

in general what you can only do is (non accelerated):
