When keep_logical_logs is false, it will delete the just-rotated-out log file after a rotation, so yeah, it’ll leave even older ones alone if any.
Since 2.2.0, the index commands are part of the normal transaction log. Before 2.2.0, the Lucene index logs were separate but used the same keep_logical_logs setting. Only the most recent log is used for recovery after a crash. Older logs can be used for debugging if need be, and then an unbroken sequence of the most recent ones are often the most useful. Otherwise there’s no problem with manually (or with a cron job) deleting old archived log files. -- Chris Vest System Engineer, Neo Technology [ skype: mr.chrisvest, twitter: chvest ] > On 16 Apr 2015, at 14:48, Clark Richey <[email protected]> wrote: > > Hello, > I am running 2.2.1 enterprise.
