I wanted to announce that i've started writing a C++ wrapper library to neon. It is currently in what i'd consider alpha-stage, not because of instability issues, but simply because work has only begun and while i have some clear models already laid out how it should work in the end, some thing are not clear yet so i'm still experimenting practically as well. It is however, in the functionality it offers so far, usable, and we are already using it in our app (BMP, an audio player: http://www.beep-media-player.org)
There is not much information about it yet; a small homepage exists on our Projects wiki:
http://projects.beep-media-player.org/index.php/Main/Neon
And the 0.2 release contains Doxygen documentation, but any person knowledgable in C++ and the neon APIs should get around with the current state of neon++ without any problems.
Please feel free to send any comments of any kind (improvement tips, ideas, etc) to me personally as well ([EMAIL PROTECTED]), or if appropriate (i am new to the neon list so i don't really know what sorts of things are being discussed here) to the list.
For bugs, please also always file them on our bugtracker:
http://bugs.beep-media-player.org/bug_report_advanced_page.php
(NOTE: Make sure you switch the project to "neon++" at the top right side, before filing the bug. It is currently not possible to provide a link to mantis in such a way that a certain project is pre-selected, sorry :| )
Have Fun,
Milosz
