In the 1960s a French company called Scopitone made video jukeboxes
(sorry you US people, you were, like, sooo way behind the times).
Scopitones used 16mm film and equipment salvaged from aerial
reconnaissance aircraft. The films made for these jukeboxes remain a
valuable archive of 1960s musical history.
Happily, I know three people with working Scopitone video jukeboxes
and yes, they all have an original copy of the famous Nancy Sinatra
Scopitone film. You cannot imagine the gay evenings we have had
imbibing a modest dandelion and burdock and enjoying the spectacle.
