One of the benifits of Joining the Tube collectors association is the chance to buy a DVD with much of the JEDEC tube registration database. In many cases that gives you the original data sheet for a given tube if it was registered. (A few military types were "secret" when registered and so are not included.) a large number of early Transistors are also there!

I don't know if it would be so easy to find on the web. it is one thing to find a number letter(s) number type, another to find a 4 digit one.
