I am building a Nixie clock using IN-17 tubes on 16 pin dip sockets. My plan is to use wire wrap sockets for the tubes. I'm about halfway done with the wire wrapping when I suddenly remembered that the potential in these wires is 180 VDC. Has anyone else used wire wrapping for the HV side of a clock? Can I stay out of trouble by careful routing or possibly using a layer of tape between anode and cathode layers?
