Okay, now you got the old gears in my head moving ! I'm thinking about a neon display scope project. A few years ago I picked up neon plasma display like the one used in the old Grid Compass computer: http://home.total.net/~hrothgar/museum/Compass/ I'm thinking about building a better analog front end, so I can get at least 10MHz of bandwidth, plus some hardware assisted digital sampling 50Msps min. Then throw all that data onto the plasma display. A nice homemade storage scope with a neon display. Don't expect it anytime soon. BTW: The Grid Compass came with many display options, plasma was just one of them. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "neonixie-l" group.
