Hello Nixie Fans! I've got an old Nutting Associates "Computer Quiz" game (1968, made a few years before they released Computer Space) that uses Burrough's B-5540 nixie tubes. The tubes are very dim and I assume they've outgassed and need to be replaced but I can't find a source or substitution, despite my best Google efforts.
There are always tons of nixies on eBay, and I have seen a number of websites dedicated to nixies, but I can't find this part number referenced anywhere other than my anual: "BURROUGH'S B-5540 NIXIE" Any suggestions on how to find a substitution for this nixie tube will be much appreciated.
