Multiply, amplify, divide - that's ok to get it calibrated.
But adding 20 values... why is that?
In fact, it isn't even easy to create a non linearity. Better to
focus on gain ( as in multiply, amplify, divide) and offset (adding,
subtracting constant values).
Make 3 measurements, 1mA, 5mA, 10mA. Plot them on paper.
If you can draw a straight line through these 3 points, your meter
is linear. From there, you can figure out the error in gain and offset,
and find a way to fix that.
