I can't find a way to "spilt" a thread in Google groups - we have mentioned this before - please do not hijack other threads and change the title - I'd delete these ones and ask you to start another thread but there are already a bunch of replies. If you find that you've inadvertently hijacked a thread, delete your post (or ask the admins to do it) and start a new thread.
