Oh yeah, the wife. She's not particularly pleased with my nixie tube, clock and vintage western electric and bell system equipment collecting but I always remind her it could have been strippers and coke! That usually gets the point across. :)

I have a small collection of coke memorabilia - rolled up 50 dollar bills, classic razor blades and a nasty comedown. Only kidding, I am talking about the American sweet fizzy drink nonsense. It goes with my jukebox collection and the US diner ethos. But I'd have a hard time hiding the strippers from the memsahb. Mind you I know a lady that is proud to say she is a stripper, but she strips poodles for a living. Not sure she'd enjoy being a kept woman though. I could try and start a collection. Good call, I'll think about it.

I suspect that whatever or whomsoever I came home with, the wife would roll her eyes up and have that resigned look of long suffering on her face. She'd forgive me, but she'd get her vengeance somewhere along the line. It's called holy deadlock. But true love conquers all...

Pass me the soldering iron, on balance it's safest,
