Yep, I have 4 clocks now running with no wobble. One of them that has
been running for almost 2 years with nary a twitch! FIrst I recommend
you do some stability testing to weed out the unruly ones first
because some of these things are just plan finicky and no matter what
you do, you can't tame them. Then once you choose a batch of promising
ones, make sure your polarity is correct, B+ to the lead with the
raised arrow on the glass ( some just have a dot). Then use a current
limiting resistor that gets you slightly above the recommended current
rating of .5ma, (.7ms seems to work just fine). Should work.
