- looking for the Valvo / Philips ZM-1551 display ... - Can anyone help me with these?
Like this one ? http://www.tube-tester.com/sites/nixie/data/ZM1551/zm1551.htm According to Dieter's site, its "+/- 1 8" (Plus-Minus, one and half digits). Flat 7-seg, "Panaplex"-like neon display. ~1/2" digit height. Does it have to be the exact type (pinout and all), due to having to repair existing equipment. Instead, can it be similar, for a new project ? I have some old Beckman displays, that are ~1/2", but I'm not sure if I have the +/- symbol. I have to check.
