I have something called File Thingie installed on my web host. It makes an excellent file dump. I set up a neonixie account (name: neonixie, password: neonixie) here http://www.neon-john.com/Files/index.php It takes a userid and password to log in for writing, deleting and other file manipulation but files can be deep linked without logging in. Thus you can share files with others without having to log in. Try it and if you like it, use it. Otherwise I'll take it down in a few days.
