Not sure if you will get any more snazzy and complete as the MOD6. But, Cost effective - it is not. - Kit is about $400 shipped + cost of tubes. (I have 2 unassembled kits left) My next favorite is: (_http://www.nixiekits.eu/_ (http://www.nixiekits.eu/) ) Specifically: Manuela (not HR version) Then "Jenny" - VFD instead of Nixie, but you get the blue you wanted.
