if I did that I would a) not have roommates anymore, and b, turn off
every single one and probably still go to bed, and c, have a room
filled with alarm clocks :-)

And Mike, the whole alarm system can be disabled. This project has
been really interesting for me so far, and from what I've learned,
most people really just want a nixie clock :-).
