Looking back at these old industrial films, I'm amazed at the casual attitude toward safety in them. Of course, at the time this particular film was made, OSHA was still 6 years in the future. As an example, look at the video starting around 2:15 - the guy has just mounted a giant rotor on a test machine and spins it up just a few feet away from him.
