Hi,

never happened to me. Granted, delays in the order of one week are to be expected, but this includes the notification from customs as well as finding a day to pick up the parcel. You never know, the buyer may have never received the customs notification, or it got lost, etc.

Sometimes, upon arrival, parcels are dealt with in customs automatically, and if the value does not exceed a specified sum, it immediately gets back on the road. If not, you need to pick it up, see above.

None of these steps ever took more than two weeks for me, I am very surprised with the large timespan of six weeks.

Best regards (from Germany ;-) )
Jens

It happened to me last year, around this time. Now its happening again. I sell some small electronics items on eBay. I ship them around the world. But sometimes German Customs, get a burr up its A**, and sit on one of my parcels for 6 weeks or more. Its getting to the point where I will forbid German buyers ! No problems in Italy or Romania ... Aarrgh !
