Technically, you don't need a pressure regulator for the 12 bar bottles - they're only required for the 50 bar and up tanks. You can operate one of the 12 bar bottles with a simple needle valve that serves for both connecting and opening the bottle as well as to meter gas from it. - John
true, but if you mess up at 12 bar everything is gone, if you mess up at 1.2 bar then no harm is done. I try to do small steps at the moment :-)
