Ok, so the tube just arrived, everything seems just fine, but i havent got the time to fire it yet. The thing is i have noticed a really strange thing - there is an extra cathode wich is *upside down* number eight in the middle, in between two and five. It looks like its not connected to any pin. Does anybody know why its there?my guess would be it acts like a spacer, but why?
