Chris - thanks for this - these look great! I'd be ordering them now if I wasn't having such fun (relatively, it's a bit of a steep learning curve for me) how do do the logic for this stuff. What I am keen to find, though, is another display solution - I have the B7971s for me, but I want to make a few more of these things and the large nixies obviously aren't sustainable. LEDs are the next best choice, but I'm keeping my eyes open for other ideas. Anyway, thanks to all the help from everyone here, I now have a working FLW! Still various glitches to iron out, and features to add to the code, but the basic circuit is there and multiplexing them happily.
