I have seen used IN-12 and 15s that have been soldered directly into the PCB and I've done the same myself for prototype or experimental purposes but for long term use I wouldn't want to put that much strain on the seals. The socket pins removed from standard D connectors will fit most tubes if you have the patience to solder them individually to the PCB.
