You can find interretsing information on these on Ronald Dekkers website 
here: http://www.dos4ever.com/ring/ring.html - scroll down a bit and you'll 
se the whole range of the ZA100X series of tubes mentioned, there is also a 
datasheet  that shows that the cathode is the middle pin and both sides are 
the anode(s) (they are internally connected to the mesh electrode) - 
observe that the datasheet only shows ZA1001-ZA1005 but the design should 
be the same for the ZA1000. You could also email Ronald and ask if he has 
the datasheet for the ZA1000.
 
The cathodes are connected together with the common ground rail - the 
bottom wire in the diagram connecting both ZA1000 tubes to each other. The 
anodes are connected to the figures 14a and 15 respectively.
