Hi Ax,
 
I only tend to chop up the non workers, or the really tatty ones. I've got 
some very old Solatron stuff that I think was stored in a Barn for 20 years 
- all cooroded up inside, didn't have the balls to put mains on them!
Just completed a HP counter,that took some doing as they are so well made, 
not a square cm of plastic! all metal and cast Aluminum..
 
I'm not to far South - Birmingham, and it's horrendous outside at the 
moment - wouldn't even put the dog out! :) Feel sorry for the guys down in 
Egham, was there last year and would never have thought it would flood.
