Hi Martin, Yes, the top one is in fact an H-bridge. The 2nd circuit is as good as the first, it only consumes a tiny bit more current. I’d favor the simple circuit, quite a reduction of parts which makes the H-bridge look a bit over the top. Cheers, Frank
