It's an early example of one of the standard Russian dekatrons. As some of 
the group know (because they've kindly helped out with info), I've been 
working on the history of these things for several years. This particular 
tube will help me understand better the early evolution of the Russian 
designs.

You're welcome to PM me if you're interested in dekatrons (same goes for 
anyone here).
