I went to see the Salisbury Magna Carter with my daughter in late December 2012 when the chapter house was undergoing repairs.
We were the only ones there and had it to ourselves for nearly an hour, inspecting it closely and talking to the curator. It's absolutely magnificent - in near perfect condition after 800 years - beautifully written - supposedly the best of the surviving originals...
