I have a Nixisat with the large Z568M type tubes and have enjoyed it for
many years. It stopped working recently, and after a couple of emails to
Jeff Thomas went unanswered I recently learned via the net the sad news of
his passing. I was very sorry to hear this. Jeff was always helpful when
I needed it and the clock has given me great pleasure. I work at home, and
it was always my buddy sitting there.

Now I'm wondering if anyone in the group can, or knows of anyone who can,
repair this clock. There is a significant burn mark on the -- diode? --
next to the -- power transistor? -- on the circuit board, and the power
supply itself is dead. I've ordered a new power supply but I'm not
optimistic that the clock will still function with only that corrected.
Any help appreciated. I am in the USA.
