Happy New Year folks! Hope everybody had a great evening. Woke up on the first day of 2016 to a leap year bug on the RPTR-NEX. It's adding a day to the current date, the bug does not affect the time displayed. We'll roll out an official firmware update and instructions in a bit after we test properly.
Again, this just on the new RPTR-NEX devices, An update can be applied easily through a USB port. Nothing needs to be done on the MOD-SIX clock itself or any of the older style RPTRs. For anybody who'd like to be a beta tester/early adopter and try out a fix, here is a temporary link to updated RPTR-NEX firmware. https://www.dropbox.com/s/njnspje0uz0ncvq/RPTR-NEX_V41_LEX-BASIC.bin?dl=0 The RPTR firmware update instructions are on the regular site if you don't already have them. Updating Instructions V08-08, section 2.2. Note the process is a little different on a MAC versus a Windows PC. http://www.badnixie.com/MOD-SIX_Info_Page.html (and a direct link) http://badnixie.com/Web_Files/MOD-SIX%20Updating%20Instructions.pdf Sorry for the trouble. carl -------------------------------------------------------- Henry Carl Ott N2RVQ [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "neonixie-l" group.
