Hello. Now that a 4x IV-6 clock transformation project is close to completion (needs proper enclosure), I am planning to build another device using again IV-6 VFDs or the smaller IV-3's. The device will use 6 or 8 of them so that it can display alphanumerical information.
I looked around the web and I could not find a board that would accomodate so many IV's. I found one board for 4x IV-3 (Elektor), but it is out of stock and too short anyway. I ask here if someone knows of other suppliers that did not show up in my searches. I know it is very simple to get a similar PCB done, but I am absolutely not into PCB design/manufacturing. Maybe someone has already got a similar design in his magic drawer? I could run a small run of such PCBs (just interconnections between mux'ed tubes and towards logics). In the picture: bending pins and trying a lineup with 4x iv-6 tubes on veroboard. Thanks, Paolo -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "neonixie-l" group.
