Oh, also, I should mention heat; If the ripple current into/out of the caps is dissipating say 1.5 Watts (sometimes more, it depends on the project) and you divide that by 3 caps, they won't get nearly as hot as a single cap would get. Cooler electronics last longer, heat can cause problems for Caps especially. Mark
